Golden Empire Roofing & Construction completed a full roof replacement on this waterfront public library in Brooklyn, a project combining multiple systems across a complex roofline. Our team installed 9,000 square feet of shingle roofing and 7,000 square feet of flat roofing, delivering complete coverage across both the sloped and low-slope sections. We also installed prefabricated metal coping around the perimeter, along with full metal panel cladding on the building's signature red extension.
As a library, this space is a haven for readers and learners in the community, and a sound roof over their heads keeps that space dry, comfortable, and open. The result is a durable, weather-tight roof system that protects this valued community facility while safeguarding the quiet work of reading and discovery happening inside.
